Allison was born in Germany, at a very old age. After a few months of soaking up the culture and language, she hopped on a military flight to New York, where she was raised by a pack of wild artists in the Adirondack Mountains.
As soon as she turned twenteen, she did the right thing and rebelled. Traveling around America, working as everything from pizza tosser to registered nurse—crushing the call of her creative cranium. Finally landing near Seattle, she is pursuing her creative passions!
She spent a few years designing clothes for imaginary people (theatrical costume design) and teaching kids how look like monsters (that wasn’t very hard).
Allison has been an avid fiber artist for over 25 years and is finally sharing her designs. She teaches knit, crochet and sewing in the Pacific Northwest and still works as a freelance costume designer.
