The Fish is fun to knit as the stitch pattern changes often. It uses only 1 skein of a softspun yarn (such as Cascade Lana Bambu, Malibrigo Worsted or PuntaYarns Merisoft) in solid or semi-solid but really shines when you make it with hand-paint yarn. The Fish is a great gift for a guy or gal of any age.

Skill Level Intermediate-variety of stitches, lace, simple shaping

Size One Size

Yarn 180 yds worsted weight

Needle US  7 (4.50 mm)  or as needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge 16-20 sts = 4 inches/ 10 cm. Gauge is not critical for this project.
