A simple to learn box stitch is worked diagonally to create this stroller/car seat blanket made with fingering (sock) weight yarn
This pattern is a 6 page step-by-step full color photo tutorial.
Instructions/yardage are for a small baby blanket. You can easily substitute any yarn weight, once you learn the stitch pattern, to make your project any size from a coaster to king size blanket! Just be sure to swatch with appropriate size hook to get the fabric feel you desire.
Skill Level: Easy-Intermediate
Yarn: Fingering (sock) 775 – 800 yards
Hook: US F-5 (3.75 mm) or as desired to achieve gauge
Gauge: 1 dc block = 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch (gauge is not important for this project)
